Marenda and Jonathan’s heart for the Lord is undeniable and apparent in all that they do. Their day was a day filled with worship and as they washed each others feet it became clear to me how devoted they are to one another. They’ve prayed, planned and now they are ready to start their life together. During their ceremony couples that have greatly influenced their relationship came up and prayed over them, such a powerful moment. I am always so happy when couples decide to focus on the things that matter the most.
Everything about the day was filled with so much thought. HighGrove Farms is the perfect backdrop for any couple that is looking for a relaxed wedding venue that makes you want to run around in the Pecan fields and pet the horses. Marenda’s Dad wanted her to still have the feeling of walking through church doors so he decided to build some of their own! Marenda mentioned this to me before the wedding, but I was blown away when I saw the entrance doors and the alter that her Dad put together. Just wait until you see these doors and you will understand! So gorgeous! All of the furniture and quilts were antiques from her family and they made everything feel so cozy!
After the ceremony the first dances were held under the trees as the sun was setting and my heart melted. Marenda and Jonathan both love their parents so much and their dances were nothing short of amazing. Marenda and Jonathan thank you so much for including me in your day! Enjoy a few of my favorites and I hope that you are having so much fun in St. Lucia!!!
