It’s after two o’clock and I finally made it home! Yay! That five hour drive from Brunswick to Atlanta seems to take forever! Thankfully, another audio book came to my rescue and helped pass the time along. As long as that drive is, I am so thankfully for every opportunity that I get to make a trip home. I’ve spent more quality time with my family these last few weeks then I have in probably over a year. I’ve been so homesick the past few months and I feel that with each trip home I am slowly being recharged. I love Atlanta and the life we have here, but there is just something about the coast that tugs at my heart. I hope that I get to make a few more trips this summer, but until then here is a little recap of my weekend…
- My sister graduated with her Bachelor’s of Education Degree this past Saturday and I am so proud!
- The past few Saturdays have been pretty rainy so I felt the need research why rain is considered a good thing on a wedding day. It turns out that rain symbolizes blessings, cleansing, unity, fertility and a new day, all things that you would love to have associated with your wedding day.
- I spent the first half of Sunday morning exploring Jekyll Island by bicycle and it was glorious!
- There are so many things that need to get done this week, but I am not going to worry. Every single day is such a blessing and I don’t want to take a second for granted.
Happy Monday Ladies, I hope it is a great one! Xoxo!
In case you were wondering who this handsome guy is, he’s my brother! P.S. Please ignore my awkward hand in the photo
